We work hard to help increase health and physical activity levels and promote healthy lifestyles
We are committed to supporting the local community in increasing individual’s health and physical activity through our various programmes, including Active Pilgrims. We also want to help people to stay fit and active through our diverse range of sports activities and initiatives
Our aim is to improve the levels of health and physical activity by utilising the power of sport and the Boston United Football Club brand to create opportunities that are both accessible and affordable for adults and children, regardless of age and gender. We want to give a variety of opportunity to participate in healthy activities in their communities, from infants right through to the elderly.
We also want our programmes to help educate the community about the importance of being fit and staying healthly, to provide exercise and nutrition advice and help people have a sense of belonging as part of a group to motivate them to participate on a regular basis.
Our health and physical activity programmes are delivered in a variety of locations and settings across the Borough of Boston. There are activities for all age groups, levels and abilities, which are led by qualified health and fitness professionals to ensure a high quality, fun and positive experience for all participants.
Boston United in the Community’s health and physical programmes are supported by Lincolnshire Partnership Foundation Trust and Boston Borough Council along with a number of other key health organisations to ensure our services are addressing and meeting local health needs.
