Positive Pilgrims mental health sessions

Our Positive Pilgrims programme aims to develop confidence, self esteem, sense of belonging, health and wellbeing, and increase social acceptance and interaction for people who suffer with mental health, through various sports sessions.

Our fully qualified coaches who have undergone enhanced CRB checks and are fully First Aid trained lead various football and multisport sessions, which are listed below.

Positive Pilgrims – Racketball – At the start of May 2016 Positive Pilgrims started playing racketball every Tuesday 1pm-2pm at the Boston squash and racketball club thanks to funding obtained by the squash club. After the 6 weeks of racketball coaching, the Positive Pilgrims group loved the sessions that much that the squash and racketball club has made the session a weekly paid session for the group at £2 per person. The Positive Pilgrims group is a mental health specific group. If anyone is interested in joining the Positive Pilgrims group and take part in such activities as this or any other sports that we offer then please get in touch with Lewis Wright on 01205 311655 or alternatively email me lewis.wright@bufc.co.uk.  Please wear suitable indoor sports clothing and bring a drink.
